What Makes This Treatment Different?
Unlike traditional massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage is performed using very light, precise movements that follow the natural pathways of your lymphatic system.
Because the lymphatic vessels are located just beneath the skin, deeper pressure isn't more effective—in fact, gentle techniques are what make MLD so unique.
Every treatment begins with a discussion about your health history, goals, and any areas of concern. Your session is then customized to support your body's needs, whether that's focusing on a specific area or providing a full-body treatment.
During Your Session
Your appointment begins with a brief consultation so we can discuss your goals, symptoms, and medical history.
During treatment, you'll experience slow, gentle movements that encourage lymph flow without discomfort. Many clients describe the experience as deeply relaxing, and it's common to feel lighter or notice reduced swelling after your session.
Because every client is different, your treatment plan may include a full-body session or a targeted approach depending on your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does MLD use deep pressure?
No. Manual Lymphatic Drainage uses very gentle, rhythmic movements because the lymphatic vessels are located just beneath the skin. The treatment is designed to encourage lymph flow without deep pressure.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. You'll be invited to undress to your own comfort level, and you'll remain covered with a sheet and blanket throughout your session. I only uncover the area I'm actively working on, ensuring your privacy and comfort at all times.
How many treatments will I need?
That depends on your goals.
Some clients benefit from an occasional session to support general wellness, while others recovering from surgery or managing ongoing swelling may benefit from a series of treatments. During your appointment, we'll discuss your goals and determine a treatment plan that's appropriate for you.
Can I combine MLD with other services?
Absolutely. Manual Lymphatic Drainage can often be combined with enhancements or scheduled alongside your regular massage appointments, depending on your goals. If you're unsure what's best for your situation, I'm happy to help you choose the right combination.
Is MLD relaxing?
Yes! Although the techniques are gentle and therapeutic, many clients find MLD to be deeply calming. It's common to leave your session feeling lighter, refreshed, and more relaxed.
